Raw Turquoise Bracelet and Earrings by Twana Scott
W H A T
Blackfoot Nation Artist Twana Scott began NiziTapi designs five years ago as a way of highlighting the raw beauty of turquoise. She utilizes Sleeping Beauty turquoise slabs wrapped with sterling silver wires and organic silver forms. Each piece is entirely hand wrought without the aid of any machinery. She will be presenting several lines of jewelry, each featuring a different material including turquoise, glass, crystal and leather. Twana will be in the gallery for First Thursday and will give an artist talk on Saturday. Come meet this infectious and enthusiastic young designer.
